Inspired by the artist’s own experience with sleep paralysis and astral projection, two nude figures—a man and a woman—drift in opposing states of gravity, joined by a golden ribbon tracing the shape of the Pisces constellation.
The male figure is rooted to the earth yet his body floats free, his fingers touching set of keys—keys of knowledge. The lock, notably absent, invites the viewer to ponder what remains undiscovered.
Surrounding this dreamlike pairing is a lush, symbolic background: an alchemical tree of the 12th House, celestial glyphs, and two angelic beings quietly turning the great wheel of time as a ghostly figure watches from beyond.
